Sikagard®-608 W Gloss

GLOSS WATER BASED PROTECTIVE COATING

Sikagard®-608 W Gloss is a one component, pre-packed water based dispersion protective coating with selected material properties, to protect substrates from moss, fungi, and dirt. It is gloss look.

Usage

For protecting of natural stone, expose brickwork, and roof tile; against wheather and dampness, over a range of applications as below:
  • Wall and horizontal surfaces (limited traffic area)
  • Interior and exterior
  • Dry and wet area (not submerged)

Consumption

  • 0.2 - 0.4 kg/m2/coat (using brush, depend on substrate surface)
  • 2 coats always required, wet on dry system.
  • Material consumption and the number of applications depend entirely on the surface condition and porosity; in case of doubt a test should be carried out in order to find the exact material consumption and number of applications required.
Application steps

APPLICATION

  • Mix for a few second to get homogeneous material.
  • Apply 2 coats by brush or sprayer (wet on dry system).
  • Waiting time before second coat is 30 – 60 min (depends on the temperature and humidity).
  • Prevent the applied product from water until 24 hours.

CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT

Clean all tools and application tolls with water immediately after use. Hardened and/ or cured material can only be removed mechanically or with proprietary paint stripper
