Sika merekomendasikan pemilihan Lucrèce Foufopoulos-De Ridder kepada Dewan Direksi pada Rapat Umum Tahunan berikutnya, yang akan diadakan pada 12 April 2022.
Lucrèce Foufopoulos-De Ridder memiliki karir jangka panjang di industri kimia lebih dari 20 tahun. Pada tahun 2019, beliau diangkat ke Borealis Executive Board sebagai Executive Vice President Polyolefins dan Innovation & Technology. Sebelum penunjukan ini, ia bekerja di Eastman Chemical sebagai Vice President & General Manager unit bisnis Rubber Additives. Sebelum bergabung dengan Eastman Chemical, Lucrèce Foufopoulos-De Ridder memegang berbagai posisi di perusahaan multinasional, termasuk Dow Chemical, Rohm and Haas, Dow Corning, dan Tyco.
Lucrèce Foufopoulos-De Ridder meraih gelar master Eropa di bidang Teknik Polimer dan Komposit dari University of Leuven, gelar master dalam Material Science & Engineering dari University of Ghent, keduanya di Belgia, dan pendidikan bisnis eksekutif dari INSEAD di Paris, Prancis dan IMD di Lausanne, Swiss. Dia memegang kewarganegaraan ganda Belgia-Swiss.
