Sika® Stabilizer-10 NT

ADMIXTURE FOR PERVIOUS CONCRETE APPLICATIONS

Sika® Stabilizer-10 NT is a special non-chloride and non-corrosive liquid admixture for use in non-traffic pervious concrete applications.

Sika® Stabilizer-10 NT is recommended for any pervious concrete application. The main benefits  of Sika® Stabilizer-10 NT are:

Usage

  • Sika® Stabilizer-10 NT can be used in all pervious concrete applications, whenever easier and faster placement is required.
  • Sika® Stabilizer-10 NT improves the quality of the bonding paste/mortar in terms of adhesiveness and water repellency.
  • Paste/mortar is less absorptive and therefore its durability is improved especially in areas where pervious concrete can be exposed to freeze thaw cycles.

Shelf life

12 months from date of production if stored properly in undamaged un-opened, original sealed packaging

Storage conditions

Stored at temperature between 7 °C - 27 °C. If frozen, thaw and agitate thoroughly to return to normal state.

Application Information

DISPENSING

It is recommended to discharge Sika® Stabilizer-10 NT in the beginning of the loading cycle with initial water.
If higher dosage of Sika® Stabilizer-10 NT is used it is recommended to discharge Sika® Stabilizer-10 NT into mixing water stream. Let the blend mix for sufficient period of time to disperse the admixture properly throughout entire mix.
Consumption

Recommended Dosage

Recommended dosage rate of Sika® Stabilizer-10 NT for pervious concrete applications is 0.5 % - 1 % by weigh of cement. It is recommended that prior to use in an actual project, field testing be conducted to determine the most effective dosage rate.
