Sika® Intraplast®-25 CG

Grout Admixture for Anchoring and Grouting

A specially designed grout admixture for bolting and anchoring in powder form, with water reducing, shrinkage compensating, corrosion inhibiting and viscosity modifying properties.

  • Sika® Intraplast®-25 CG plasticises the mix with water reduction properties, thus improving the strength of the grout.
  • Shrinkage compensating.
  • Can be used for overhead application due to its thixotropic properties.
  • Protect steel of anchor or rockbolt from aggressive environments and chemical attack due to low w/c ratio, shrinkage compensating and corrosion inhibiting properties.
  • Non toxic, non chloride.

Usage

Sika® Intraplast®-25 CG is used to create pumpable thixotropic cement grouts and is suitable for use in the grouting of :
  • Pre-stressed cable ducts.
  • Rock and soil anchoring.
  • Dowel grouting.

Concreting Guidance

To obtain optimum results (flowability, thixotropic properties, etc) the suitable w/c ratio and Sika® Intraplast®-25 CG / cement ratio shall be determined through trial mixes.

Application

Application Information

DISPENSING

  • Add directly to the gauging water and mix with cement.
  • The mixture must be stirred continuously for minimum of 3 minutes.
  • For anchoring and bolting work, a mix with a w/c ratio of 0.24 – 0.28 has been found to be suitable.
  • It is not recommended to add sand into the mix.
Consumption

Recommended Dosage

4 - 6 % by weight by cement
