Sika® Stabilizer-24 PDS

Dust Suppressant

Sika® Stabilizer-24 PDS is product formulated compositions specially designed dust suppressant. A special formulated for underground mines with excellent agglomerating properties intended for the control of dust on unpaved roads and other areas subject to the emission of particulate matter.

Sika® Stabilizer-24 PDS is formulated with effect such as:
  • Improve the suppression ability by enhancing the adhesion & abilities to catch dust in certain time after applications
  • Binds dust particles to the road. Stops dust clouds, improving thus driving comfort and safety
  • Eliminate dust and watering

Usage

Sika® Stabilizer-24 PDS can be used in:
  • New underground headings; face after blasting, wall (ribs) and overhead (backs)
  • Underground access road in production headings
  • Unpaved road with high traffic

Shelf life

Minimum 1 year if stored in original unopened container

Application

Recommended dosage

The quantity of Sika® Stabilizer-24 PDS used depends largely on the kind of road required and the road material itself.

Recommended dosage are 150 gr – 250 gr/m2.

 

APPLICATION

Sika® Stabilizer-24 PDS is ready to use and not recommended to dilute or mixing with water.

Sprayer system:

Booster pump (hydraulic pump), low pressure (3-6 bar), big orifice nozzle (1.8 – 5.44mm), droplet size (100 – 300 Mikron), output (4500 – 6000 LPH).

By using a sprayer system will produce large droplets which can increase the moisture on the surface of soil, rock or concrete. The chemical will coat the surface and absorb dust over a certain period.

Cleaning system:

Sprayer equipment can be clean or flashing by using Sika® Stabilizer 220 Poro as cleaning agent with dilution ratio 1:20.
